Frequently asked questions
Do I need design experience?
No. Start from one of 28 built-in templates, replace the headline and screenshot, and export. The editor handles alignment, snapping and correct dimensions for you.
Which sizes can I export?
All common App Store and Google Play presets — iPhone 6.9", 6.5" and 5.5", iPad 13", Android phone and tablet — as PNG, JPEG or SVG, at exact pixel dimensions.
Can I work with my team?
Yes. Pro includes 10 workspaces with up to 10 members each. Invite teammates by email and assign owner, admin, member or viewer roles so everyone sees the right projects.
Is my work saved automatically?
Every edit is autosaved and the last 60 actions are kept in history, so you can undo and redo freely without losing progress.
Can I go back to an earlier design?
Yes — Pro plans include project versioning. Save a named version at any milestone, browse versions newest-first, preview any of them read-only, and clone one back when you want to continue from there. Versions are also included when you export a project archive.
How does the AI assistant work?
Open the AI tab in the editor and describe the screenshot you want in plain words. The assistant builds a real, fully editable scene on your canvas — text, shapes, device frames and backgrounds stay editable like anything you place by hand. Every plan includes a monthly allowance of AI credits (10 on Free, 300 on Pro), and each finished operation shows exactly how many credits it used.
What are AI credits, and do they expire?
One AI credit represents a fixed amount of AI processing budget. Plan credits are granted fresh every calendar month, expire at the end of that month and don't roll over — annual plans receive their monthly allowance too. Extra credit packs you buy separately never expire and are only used after your monthly plan credits run out.
Can clients review my screenshots without an account?
Yes. Turn on comments for a public share link and send the review link to anyone. Reviewers only enter their name and email the first time; we send a verification link, and after clicking it they can comment on every slide without signing up for AppScenes.
Who can see review comments and email addresses?
All reviewers using the same review link see each other's published comments, names and timestamps. Reviewer email addresses are never shown publicly — only the project owner and authorised collaborators can see them. Comments stay available when you disable commenting, and you can resolve, reopen or delete them at any time.
Do you use my screenshots to train AI?
No. We never train models on your designs. Running the assistant does require sending your prompt and the current scene to our AI provider so it can generate the edit — see our Privacy Policy for details.
How do I cancel?
You can cancel any time from your account. Your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period, and you keep access to everything you created.
